1.Features
Here’s a list of the major features PlainBox Theme has to offer. Though for those who understand code,I recommend spending a little while to get to know the PBTheme codebase, it has a few secrets here and there.
- K2 Options Page: Write a blurp about yourself for the frontpage. Choose between traditional or livesearch. Set up the Delicious plugin without editing code. Create an archives page which employs the LiveArchives plugin. Select from dropdown between custom CSS files. This is what the options page does.
- Live Commenting: AJAX-powered commenting; smooth, sexy, cyber. The technology of yester-year right here and now!
- Plugin Support: K2/plainbox has code in place for supporting a wide range of useful plugins. All you have to do is upload and activate the plugins you want to use (pick from the list below).
- Page Menu’s, Paged comments: Ehm… menu’s.
- Page Templates: If you want to have comments on a static
page or a guest
book page or set up a nice archives page, it’s a little bit easier with plainbox ’s page templates.
- Author Comments Highlighted:
What it says. The author of an entry has his comments highlighted.
- K2 Widgets - Sidebar Manager ( for wordpress 2.3- only)
- K2 Advanced Navigation ( for wordpress 2.3- only)

- Customisable logo/header image - 950 × 220px header image.

4.Configuration:
How to add thumbnails to the Home Page
- Make sure the Get Custom Field Values is activated. This plugin is included in the theme download in the folder “plugins”.
- Go to Custom Fields under where you edit the post in your WP admin.
- Under Add a new custom field type thumb in the Key field.
- Enter the address for the image ( size: 280 x 140px ) in the Value field. For example:(e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content/themes/overstand/http://dearj.com/pbox/readme/images/example.gif)
- Click the button “Add Custom Field”
The header grapghic
Method 1 - Header Image
The header grapghic was developed for “PlainBox”. If you run your own blog, please change this graphic to your own one. You can find the PSD file in the "PSD" folder and has a size of 950 × 220 pixels.
